"What am I doing? I'm at a..."
"...simfest."
It seems that Mick's Master Karaoke has a very loose list of criteria for what constitutes a performance competition- the proprietor isn't here, nor are the other performers and spectators Nozomi expected,
Nozomi expresses her disappointment through aerosolized rebellion.
Taras pays off a group of the family's ever-growing list of bills. With four kids in the house, renovations, and redecorating, money is tight. Taras is just glad they haven't needed to sell off any of their furniture.
Melor hums as he finishes up his homework. While most of it is easy for him, there are still things he'd like doing more. He's been thinking of reading The Adventures of Raymundo all day!
He rushes to his room, eager to plunge into the next chapter.
Taras sighs as he watches Melor dash away. The boy is very reclusive, spending most of his free time in his room or sitting on the couch engrossed in a book.
Taras can't say he blames him; after all, he does the same thing.
Nozomi holds the glowing bottle in her hand. The alchemy potion book called this a "good luck potion". She hopes it lives up to its name.
Down the hatch!
While she feels a surge of confidence as she mounts the stage, she can't help but feel like she's forgetting something...
...something important...
But the show must go on!
AN:
Nozomi makes the funniest facial expressions.
The simfest was so disappointing! No one showed up! *sigh* Oh well...
It's certainly good luck to be able to forget about the screaming babies at home XD Though Taras must be feeling considerably less lucky...
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah. I feel bad whenever I leave just one adult sim surrounded by screaming toddlers, but money must be earned!
