1.21 Day 21

Early morning feeding.
To Nozomi's slight disappointment, they had another boy-Tobias. Taras, on the other hand, is happy to have another son.
"You just want me to be surrounded by testosterone," Nozomi playfully accuses.
Taras laughs, "Hey, I grew up with three sisters! I need some male relatives."
Nozomi scoffs. "Like your sisters were all that feminine. They thought my glasses were girly."

For once, they're actually awake, and eating, at the same time.
"Careful now, I might think this is a date and get carried away," Taras teases.
"Oh yeah. Grilled cheese, the most romantic of all dishes," Nozomi proclaims, taking a huge, cheesy bite.
"Hey, we actually haven't been out together in awhile," Taras realizes.
Nozomi ponders this, then shrugs, "Want to go somewhere?"

He would, but it's still a bit early to go out...

Several hours and a change of clothes later, they arrive at the Cog, an upscale lounge in the centre of town.

Now this kind of dancing is more Nozomi's speed.

It quickly becomes apparent that Taras has no idea what he's doing.
If we hadn't just woohooed, I would wonder if this were some sort of mating signal.

"Am I doing it right?" Taras asks hopefully.
Nozomi giggles, "You're so cute, Taras."

Everybody was Kung Fu fightin'...

Dancing is thirsty work. Nozomi barely glances at her expensive drink before guzzling it down.

The Pomegranate Passion gets them both in a romantic mood.

Before they go home, the slightly tipsy couple sits down in the snow to sober up. It's been a long time since either of them have had any alcohol.

As they watch the snowflakes drift down, Taras smiles.
This is something he'd like to remember.

AN: D'aaaw.
These two seriously deserved a break, so even though their funds are minuscule, I let them hire a babysitter and buy some drinks.

  1. Another boy! Will Nozomi get another chance at a daughter or is that it?

They really did deserve a break, even if it eats away their meager funds.

    1. We shall see... ;)

And oh my gosh, yes. They spend all their time with kids or sleeping.

  2. The Cog looks awesome!

Aww, poor Nozomi. Will she ever get her daughter?

    1. The Cog is a cool club! I really like Riverblossom Hills; it has a nice range of clubs but doesn't feel as claustrophobic as Bridgeport.
