These early morning feedings are really draining the life out of Nozomi. She loves her son, but she does relish her opportunities to go out, if for nothing other than some peace and quiet.
He's settled for the moment, giving Nozomi the chance to feed herself. Lately, her life has been a slew of feedings, diaper changes, crashing on the couch to nap, and eating what she can whenever she can.
But today is different. Today she has a show to perform and she will not mess this up.
Meanwhile, Taras tries out his new "sales pitch".
"Your fitness is important to you, I can tell," he says, glancing at the man's trim figure, "I can give you information on the best times to workout, what places are best for the body and mind..."
It becomes clear that there are certain subjects that capture his attention more than others.
Still, something seems a bit off about the guy.
When Taras offers to to what he calls an "ink reading" the man suddenly lunges at him.
"I won't fall for this! You won't peer into my mind!"
Too bad Taras didn't know that Jamieson Moriarty, on top of being the local emperor of evil, is insane.
Show time!
Nozomi's audience seems to be enjoying the show.
Everything feels right. Looking at the vibrant bouquet in her hand, Nozomi decides to take a risk.
The box of destiny, part 2.
Nozomi's heart beats wildly as she sticks swords into the box. She feels energetic, alive.
And the risk of making a mistake makes it all the more exciting.
Although she does run into a few...
...bumps...
Along the way.
She lets the crowd sit in suspense for a moment. They need to savor the excitement, the way she does.
Even though her hands are steady as she slides the swords back out, a part of her is still uncertain that the trick worked.
And that's the beauty of magic.
It's hard to know which one of them is more relieved.
She ends the show with a confident bow.
Once at home, in soft comfy pjs and watching her son play, Nozomi thinks of another risk she'd like to take.
"Let's have another baby."
AN: For that show, Nozomi got "meh" reviews. I am seriously fed up with the game's way of scoring shows- she didn't mess up a single trick! The audience reacted positively to everything she did! What more does it want?
